Join David Quinton and his intergalactic colleagues on the expedition of the century as they travel across the universe to discover the truth of this scientific abnormality.

Will they discover the answers to any of the universe’s age old mysteries?

Join the incredible journey of the IASS Traveler where danger awaits in this galaxy and beyond.

When scholars realized the galaxies were orbiting around an uncharted area of space, they did everything they could to discover what might be hidden in Sector 619.3. Project Center of the Universe eBook AW Richey

On the surface this is an excellent adventure novel. It has a clear cut plot-line of space exploration with plenty of action. What is refreshing is the author's kind and gentle approach to serious subject matter. He introduces us to a diverse group of characters, working together to solve a baffling scientific mystery. As with all unknown, there is an underlying fear. That plays out differently in each member of the crew and the occupants of the various planets. Even in these tense times each player has their own story. The author tempts with a budding romance but does not clutter the page with graphic physical details. He addresses loss and grief, loneliness, friendship, different belief systems and adversity with understanding, not judgement. What amazed me was that these topics were covered thoroughly yet concisely. They did not bog down the pace of the book but added depth and meaning. Conflicts do arise, as no one is without flaws, but are carefully constructed to show why they exist and how they are resolved. I would recommend this book to anyone from an intelligent 10 year old to my sci-fi loving grandmother. Honor, respect, bravery, love and acceptance are ageless. When presented in such an engaging tale as this, it should be applauded.

Project Center of the Universe eBook AW Richey Reviews

A fun sci-fi adventure, clearly influenced by Star Trek. An exciting thrill ride from beginning to end. The plot was compelling and I was left guessing what would happen right up until the end.
Brilliant pacing, excellent character development, and exciting sci-fi content will keep the pages turning. This is a captivating tale about adventure, love, and sacrifice. The plot seems a little far fetched at first but develops into a thoughtful question about the nature of the universe. All in all, a very satisfying and thought provoking story.
I enjoyed reading this story. I had a hard time putting it down. Very interesting characters from different backgrounds/history. Surprised at how the story ended. What is at the center of the universe? Read and find out.
PCotU had an intriguing premise, a diverse cast of interesting characters, and an equally riveting expanded future setting that fit the fresh plot. I quickly got wrapped up in the mystery at the heart of the story and had to know how it all ended. I wasn’t disappointed by the ride. The intensity of the stakes didn’t up from beginning to end.
My only problem with the story was that there was often dialogue with no hint of the setting and sometimes characters popped in and out of a scene seemingly at random. I do wish some of the characters where more developed. Some of the action lost its punch because I wasn’t as invested in the characters as I should have been.
A departure from previous works but a good one. At its very core a mystery that you want solved with memorable characters and great action interspersed throughout. Very unique look into various cultures and languages of alien species that don't seem to be just throwaway side plot. The language might be a bit off putting at first but it has it's place in the novel. 4 out of 5 stars. Worth the read.
I received a free copy of this work for an unbiased review.
He had such a good premise and turned it into a collection of items borrowed from Star Trek and some bad romance novels. And what's with the ending, or lack thereof. I suggest he invest more time, a few hundred more pages, hope for some original thought and try again.
If you're into hardcore sci-fi, then this is a great book for you. I'm not particularly into that genre and had a hard time getting through the first few chapters; but, regardless, I still wasn't able to put it down. It kept me intrigued. It's a great short read and definitely gets into its groove about halfway through once all of the characters are established. It reminded me a little of Mass Effect and I could easily see the plot working in a cinematic video game (or a space-based DnD campaign) along the same lines.

Where A.W. Richey really stands out is in his ability to create a complex and believable universe. Descriptions of environments and characters are clearly his forte and he excels at that type of writing. ) I would have liked a little more humor and banter among the characters, but I suppose that's not really fitting in this type of genre -- and is, therefore, a small nit-pick from me based on my personal preferences.

If you're into the genre and you have a little cash to spare, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book.
